We read a delightful library book today that you simply must read: Do Re Mi; If You Can Read Music, Thank Guido d’Arezzo by Susan L. Roth (Houghton Mifflin 2006). The book is a tribute to the Italian monk who invented musical notation. The story is charming, well-written, and full of Catholic themes & words (Benedictine monks, Vespers, the corporal works of mercy, a bishop and the pope). The illustrations are torn paper collage. I know you’ll love it.

Thanks for sharing your life with us.

God bless,

Linda

Fairport, NY

Homeschooling mom of 7 ages 19-1Lindanoreply@blogger.com
