Dinner out... or upstairs, that is.

Our girls treated us to a most delightful dinner, just Husband and I, at this very romantic and beautifully decorated Italian place.

A cute and well costumed very young waitress sat us on a love seat to wait for our table, and the wait was a mere 13 seconds long! No other place can beat that.

Although our food's colors were a bit vivid, and lots of it shone under the overhead light, it was such a pleasant meal: we were offered white or red when Husband asked for the wine list, and for appetizers a very artistic pizza was brought in.

It's true that the menu contained a few idiosyncrasies, but oh, the smile of the assistant chef was priceless--and so, so familiar! The place would be a favorite spot for Benedictine monks over the noon hour, since every single lunch dish was vegetarian.

We skipped dessert. The gilletto would have been over the top. We were told to sign our full name on the bill but they never asked for a credit card. So Husband was kind to leave the three delightful restaurant owners very unexpected (and real) tips. They were ecstatic!
