Isabel sends photos, spring flowers, Patrick and Ciara in Ireland, and dinner at friend Kate's. Also, we finished a group project at the crochet-knitting group at the library and they hung it on the wall. And, Geoff and I went to a campus based production of a Jane Austen play
The baby shower was hosted at a Spanish restaurant and it was a wonderfully organized event. I couldn’t wait to give them the Chicago-winter wool baby blanket I’ve been working on! Husband went with me on Friday and we had a most delightful weekend. Number One’s high school friend Ed was there and we had a a truly wonderful conversation. The illustrations in the saints books I gave as well were done by the same illustrator of my upcoming book! We enjoyed “baby August” son of their friends during the shower. On Sunday we went to mass at their new parish where baby will be baptized. It’s a lovely neighborhood!
As usual I’m going early spend a few days in MN giving them a hand. Patrick came to have lunch with me at Union Station.
