Making Easter cards

I needed a couple more Easter cards for friends and family--and used the image from Number Six from a while back. They turned out great!

And to celebrate the annunciation, the younger students worked on this in the classroom...

 

My auntie's bells

Using my picture editor, I scanned and "cut' these... painted by my beloved titia in the 1950s... I am making cards and gifts tags with them!

 

Pressing flowers

 By using the microwave, the process is shortened from months to minutes. What a lovely way to bring some of the summer garden inside.

Recreating famous paintings

Goddaughter Marguerite sent this clever recreation, and I collected a few others from friends on social media--we used to have a book at home with recreated painting and I have always loved looking at them. During the Quarantine many have joined in!
