Acreage life vignettes

It was a bad year for onions and garlic--too much rain--but, o, did the strawberries thrive! I put five small plants in spring, and for the first time ever I have gotten enough strawberries to fill a small bowl! Before yesterday, we only had enough to eat while picking in the garden... never enough to bring in.

And then... a sweet early morning visitor. It came around with a sibling and a very cautious mom!
