Homeschool Art
Well, I believe this group is a living response to the fact that it isn't resources, budget or space that makes a happy, productive art class. No budget, poorly lit basement, no space for this teacher to even go around the table. And yet... happy kids, fun art. We continue to go through Sister Wendy's American Masterpieces. The sunset/volcano study on Frederick Church's masterpiece was tricky for some of them--as one can see. We used simple kids' crayons. I was happy with my example, but as usual, some of their work surpassed mine.
Beautiful ! What a treat for my Sunday in bed with back pain... How many art students u have? All homeschoolers? Any new ones now since youve been in Brookings?
Click here to be directed to my other blog, where I am publishing, in order, the Braga Family photo albums made by my mother, Lucia Braga. May she rest in God's eternal and blissful peace.
