Two level cars
Long train

Our "roomette: two facing chairs that change into beds at night

Crossing the Mississipi

One of the bathrooms.

The shower was very roomy.

Got to see Number One and Ciara in Chicago--where sleeping car passengers have a special lounge with food and coffee etc.

Union Station

Ciara did allow us to eat a couple of the cookies she baked for Number Two

Family meeting over FaceTime

Numbers One, Five, Matthew, Husband and I were discussing summer plans over FaceTime and let's say they got carried away with iPhone features--my, we had a wonderful time laughing! Wish every meeting is full of laughter like that one!

I said No. Five looked pale, so Matt took care of it.

Easter gifts

I made these for dear friends for Easter and mailed them with cards. Friends who were part of my everyday life, and friends whom I don't get to see that often. I enjoyed my audio rosary, audio books, and my courses in Portuguese by Padre Paulo Ricardo while I worked on them.

Life with Number Seven

She is in SD to attend prom with old friends and to put finishing touches on her high school mural, but before she left she did come to my classroom and helped organize--and had to leave something on the board. The kids love it and wrote "do not erase!" In the meantime she asks us to send her photos of Juniper.

She inspired the students to draw Juniper too!

My back table was never so organized.

I have been writing around her drawings...
