Religious Ed begins
I love Geography and start the Religious Education year by drawing the world map. Through the year we will talk about how saints lived everywhere, and how we can attend the same mass anywhere in the world. I tell them about Husband's travels, and mine too. Father stopped in the classroom and helped the kids guess where I am from by giving them too-easy tips...
I knew my map was bad. Brazil is especially insignificant in the popular projections. So I love this award-winning new projection... it certainly gives us a new perspective--especially on the immensity of the Pacific Ocean.

My gift to the CCD students: a coloring book
Most of the images were from a delightful French website that allows for free downloads, I edited in English. They loved it and signed my copy! I will miss this wonderful class and urged them to come to my classroom next year!

"God Loves all of the Unusual Animals"
Her visits to my 4th grade class are a total delight for the kids! She comes before class and raws on the board and chats with them.

Life at the Parish
The three of us spend a lot of time at church on Wednesdays. Number Six helps accompany the children's choir. Number Seven and I both teach CCD, we attend mass and enjoy the parish dinner, followed by choir practice. After choir Number Seven has Youth Group, and I sometimes have Bible Study. We are ready for bed when we arrive home!

Saint Valentine Coloring Page
I love this image of Saint Valentine so much, so I made a coloring page got my kids--and they each got a color copy I ordered from the local one-hour photo place. We hung them on the hallway! I took photos of some of them.
