Pepino Wedding trip, the day after

A good photo of Geoff at the hotel restaurant. We went to St. Peter where we met old friends, and went to Mexican food with lots of O’Donnell’s. How sweet to meet little Lucia Maria, after so many prayers. In the evening we were at the Pepinos where the bride and groom opened the gift we brought from the monastery.

Pepino Wedding

A beautiful wedding! We helped setting up in the morning at the hotel where Tessie saw the groom. Helped set up the cake Louise made, and ha time to enjoy the Haymarket: coffee at the Mill with John and lunch at The Oven. The mass and reception were lovely as well, where we enjoyed Gus, Jessie and the boys. Ran into Marie M who sang in the choir.

Pepino wedding trip

Geoff, Tessie and Lochlyn came in the train with me. At the station in East Lansing there was a representative of the national train passengers association, of which I’m proud to be a member.

We taught Lochlyn the card game from Portugal, Bisca, which I grew up playing.

Enjoyed Patrick’s company in Chicago at lunch.

Crossing the Mississippi in the train is always memorable
