on calendars

A homeschool mother sent this link on converting calendars from Julian and Gregorian and vice versa, with very interesting information about the history of calendars. Visitors can also use a Roman numeral calculator and convert any Arabic numeral to Roman.

The site also challenges visitors with a quiz on Roman numerals, very useful for next time your kids see them in Math!

Update August 2012:

Hi Ana,

I came across your website and wanted to notify you about a broken link on your page in case you weren't aware of it. The link onanabragahenebrysjournal.blogspot.com/2006/05/on-calendars.html which links to http://www.guernsey.net/%7Esgibbs/roman.html is no longer working. I've included a link to a useful page on Roman Numeral Date Conversion Resources that you could replace the broken link with if you're interested in updating your website. Thanks for providing a great resource!
