We had our first official day of homeschool yesterday, albeit we still wait for the most expected arrival of Kolbe Academy's box of books. Well, after completing her K Math work pages, Number Seven and I sat down to have our first reading lesson with the same Catholic Heritage Curricula readers so many of our children learned to read from, and she did it! She read Book 1, At Mass, and Book 2, Hot Pot, as well! Here she is, after dinner, proudly demonstrating her reading abilities to daddy.
