1. We are all together! Southwest Airlines’ deals makes it possible for Number One to be with us.
2. Piotr and Oskar C. who will join us for dinner. It's been a long time since we have seen them, but not a day goes by without Number Seven praying for her godfather.
3. The blessing of great and generous friends: Phil and Anne, Mike and Ginger, and their children.
4. Great food! A 30lb. organic turkey, orange-sweet potatoes, cranberry nut bread, minced meat pie, Brazilian flan... Yum!
5. Finished quarter reports and Number Two's college applications which are well under way
6. Gorgeous, warm fall weather.
7. The technology that can bring us in touch easily despite our distance.
8. Living in a country that sets aside a national holiday to give thanks for our blessings.
9. The Luminous Mysteries, said every Thursday.
10. Our rich Catholic Faith!
