Under a Blizzard Warning

This is how it begins, folks.
Blizzard Warning ... COTTONWOOD-NOBLES-JACKSON-PIPESTONE- ROCK- BROOKINGS-MOODY-MINNEHAHA- INCLUDING THE CITIES OF... 1219 AM CST THU MAR 1 2007 ...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 6 PM CST FRIDAY... A FEW AREAS OF LIGHT SNOW AND FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CONTINUE THE REST OF TONIGHT. UNTREATED ROADS WILL BE SLICK.
SNOW IS EXPECTED TO REDEVELOP AROUND NOON ON THURSDAY...AND CONTINUE THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING. THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED TO BE FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING. TOTAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF SEVEN TO TWELVE INCHES ARE EXPECTED... WITH AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF A FOOT POSSIBLE NEAR HIGHWAY 71 IN SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA. THIS HEAVY SNOW...COMBINED WITH STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS IN EXCESS OF 35 MPH... WILL PRODUCE BLIZZARD CONDITIONS MAKING TRAVEL NEAR IMPOSSIBLE.
A BLIZZARD WARNING MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW WITH STRONG WINDS AND POOR VISIBILITIES ARE LIKELY. THIS WILL LEAD TO WHITEOUT CONDITIONS...MAKING TRAVEL EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. DO NOT TRAVEL. IF YOU MUST...HAVE A WINTER SURVIVAL KIT WITH YOU. IF YOU GET STRANDED...STAY WITH YOUR VEHICLE.

I saw your post on Dawn's blog. Last weekend we were hit with 15 inches of snow, and we are also under a winter storm watch/blizzard advisory. It is snowing like mad outside, and predictions indicate another 16 inches for us. My kids are excited to have a huge snow fort, tunnels, and sledding mountains. Sorry, I'm not much help with other ideas!
