Successful Dinner Rolls at last

During this past snowed-in blizzard week, I had to make bread everyday-- we had run out last Tuesday! I would make the daily bread and then I would attempt to also make a batch of rolls. I have never been good at making rolls! On Friday I actually made delicious sweet rolls but they weren't that pretty. Yesterday I decidedly opened the Joy of Cooking and approached the challenge seriously: I am happy to report positive results!

Try the rolls from grandma Louise in the family cookbook-- it's basically the same recipe. I will follow those directions next time. The one I used was for Parker Rolls from the Joy of Cooking.
