Holy Saturday egg-dying
I remember an Easter one dozen years ago, when Number One was in the hospital, and we watched together as as a little cottontail crossed the expansive, quiet green lawn outside our window.... an unforgettable Easter, when our hearts were filled with gratitude for his turning the tide the day before when he had finally begun responding to intravenous antibiotics.
The sight of our four daughters together doing their Holy Saturday traditional activity is also a a sweet sight. It was a close one. But she is home!
This Easter, we thank God for the many, many miracles He, in His infinite mercy, allows us to enjoy.
