My talented niece

She deserves the recognition the major newspaper in the region gave her. She sang for us while we were in Brazil: we had never heard anything like it. In Brazil, this past Christmas, we spent a lot of time together and built a special friendship. A sweet teenager, loving and beautiful, Elisa has dedicated much of her life to voice, but has more recently taken the piano as well: her email to me today tells me she can now play Fur Elise and Jesu Joy of Men's Desire.

We love you, Elisa, and remember our deal: we'll see you one day at Carnegie Hall!
