Only after they yielded more than than a dozen (handsome, delicious) eggs, the kids deemed it was time to name our newly acquired fowl: they came in yesterday from feeding/gathering eggs announcing they had names! I am happy to introduce Bob the rooster, and Abigail, Lucy and Samantha, our happy hens.
