Picture book of the week
I am not sure if this really fits the picture book category... but oh, what fun. Number Six got it for her birthday--Klutz' Cat's Cradle--from her good friend Katie B., and has been enjoying practicing the string tricks, always aided by faithful assistant Number Seven.
My 9yo Fiona loves that book too! Her favorite trick is the Eiffel Tower which can quickly turn into the Cup & Saucer. Another name for these string games is Chinese Jumprope, because apparently some of the tricks were done using legs and longer ropes. Must have been a lot of acrobatic hopping!
Click here to be directed to my other blog, where I am publishing, in order, the Braga Family photo albums made by my mother, Lucia Braga. May she rest in God's eternal and blissful peace.

One of my daughters received this for Christmas. It is played with a lot in our house.
