Clearing a field for corn

Thanks to country neighbor Mike, we were able to work on clearing a small field for planting sweet corn. Lots of fun, hard yet rewarding work, and many bug bites. Will report back on this endeavor periodically. Number Seven, the corn lover, and most likely cause of this project, is telling the story of the Little Red Hen often these days. She wants to believe she is helping enough and that others are not—you get the picture.
