My parents named the ten of us after the great Christian saints: Peter, John the Evangelist, Edward the Confessor, Teresa d'Avila, Catarina de Sena, Mary Magdalen, Margaret Mary, Marta, Felipe. We only had middle names if our patron saints had middle names. My name is Ana so I was the shortest name. Every July 26th mom would give me a small gift to celebrate the great Saint Anne, and I remember these with such love.
Today and home Number Five helped me prepare an altar for honoring the saint who is dear to my heart and who has been a model for my own homeschool life through all of these years.
I wrote an email to author Ann Ball today, before realizing it's the feast day of our saint. It's about a project that is very important to me, so join me today in praying to Saint Anne that God will grant this to come to fruition if it is for His greater glory!
