I imagined this would not be as difficult as the first time, when we left Number One there. But it is.
I cannot help to reminisce... all week I have dwelt with memories of her toddler years, childhood, first friends of adolescence.
What a true joy to look back and see a full, rich life, filled with beauty, love, learning.
It is heartbreaking to see her leave--and yet it would be more heartbreaking to see her stay, with no ambitions, no plans, no thirst for learning and for Life.
May Our Lady, atop the Golden Dome, watch and guide her in her new life! For the next four years, she will be her daily Mother!
May Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha and Saint Louise de Marillac pray for her without ceasing!
