We spent the last day of our trip at the Z. family's property. A gorgeous slice of the Wisconsin country, and a loving work in progress.

Looks like Wisconsin was nice to you! Glad you made it home safe!
Did you notice the color of Number Three's hair?
A "loving work in progress" it is! Only an artist would see it so kindly. We were happy to have you here, and are grateful for the many wonderful memories of your visit. (Including red hair!) Miss you!
Mary, you are so sweet-- and I am truly so impressed by your place! Today we are cleaning and cleaning, mowing and weeding and raking!
It's difficult NOT to notice Number Three's hair. Was this a hair-dye session gone wrong, or rather a fully legitimate expression of teenage angst?
It's more like what invariably happens when you throw a boy in the midst of girls looking for something to do!
That would certainly explain it.
