Hoarfrost
It begins with the thickest fog: we could not see across the road. Every branch and leaf and blade of grass is covered in crystals--a true winter wonderland. The sun came up soon after that, and the air was filled with tiny crystal sparkles! It was all over before lunch.
This is the third winter we enjoy this natural beauty. The first post about it was one of the earliest posts in this blog. I guess this is an anniversary of sorts.

Beautiful! I love winter landscapes. We didn't get the ice storm here, but we have so much more snow than usual in December.
