Picture book(s) of the week

A couple of library books we have been enjoying this week: this post is dedicated to librarian-grandma Carolyn!

Library Mouse by Daniel Kirk

Sam is a mouse who lives in the library.... and loves to write all sort of books. This is the second time we borrow this book from the library, and it's a
very cute book about the joy of writing! Number Six, budding writer as she is, nodded and smiled all the way through.

"L" is for Library by Nicole Wong

Library joy, famous picture book characters strolling about, rhyming verses.... all in an alphabet book! Need I say more?

Here are some of our favorite couplets:

E for Encyclopedia, containing volumes of information.
F is for fiction books, written from an author's imagination.

S is for shelf markers, that help you mark the spot.
T us for Thesaurus, which tells you "warm" is another word for "hot".

Ana,

Just in case anyone else is looking for this book, the author is actually Sonya Terry. You have the illustrator listed as the author.
Also, I just found your blog a few months ago, and was really looking forward to your "Picture Book of the Week" - but alas, that wonderful feature has been missing for the past several weeks! I hope you plan on bringing it back soon!
