Our trip west XVI: San Buenaventura Mission
During our TAC visit we visited San Buenaventura Mission in Ventura, CA--Buena Ventura, thus the name of the city. The mission is the ninth and last California mission founded by Blessed Junipero Serra, and it still an active Catholic parish today!
Great pictures! San Buenaventura was one of our favorite Missions that we visited. Even the little ones were completely captivated by the museum (so much to see even at eye level or if you lay down on your belly!)and the courtyard.
I may have to go back and finish blogging our trip in retrospect after this. :)
Click here to be directed to my other blog, where I am publishing, in order, the Braga Family photo albums made by my mother, Lucia Braga. May she rest in God's eternal and blissful peace.

It was certainly a highlight for us! Tomorrow I will blog the beach that same afternoon... blogging slowly each day makes me enjoy the trip again!
