Green tomatoes

I tried frying them once many years ago... I think it's better to leave them by the window to slowly ripen.

I came to the same conclusion. This year with our later tomatoes I've made oven roasted tomato sauce. Yummy.

Agreed! I will have ripe tomatoes for a while...
