Thank you for praying!

Dear ones,
It was a phone-ringing and visiting day... God bless prayerful friends!
Our whole family started the day with the sacraments of Penance and Holy Mass- leaving everything in His loving hands. At Notre Dame, Number Two began her day going with her roommate to the Grotto asking Our Lady to watch over her dearest Volamina.
I spoke to some of my siblings during the surgery and musician brother sent some pre-op photos from his cell.
The bypass surgery took six long hours, but she is now stable and resting in the Intensive Care Unit. My oldest brother called me as soon as she was out of surgery.
Blessed be His Name for ever and ever!
I can not express the immensity of the gratitude in my heart for your prayers!

Dearest Mamae,
my heart weighs more than two tons for not being there with all of you!
Tomorrow we begin our day with Mass and as always we will visit Our Lady's altar after Mass and we will ask her to hold you with the invisible cord of the Love Divine. I give thanks to God today for the universality of the Church and the Communion of Saints: indeed the kilometers vanish when I place my trust and confidence in the hands of Our Lady, Beloved Mother, who must look at your from above with inestimable love. After all, when she sees you it is almost as if she is looking at her own reflection, as she admires everything you are: hard working, practical, always thinking of others, generous, cheerful, tender, just--and always holding in the highest place the Divine Son Who gave himself to us in the Holy Cross.
May your recovery be neither long nor difficult, that Home may see your smile sooner than expected, and may God will that we may see you soon!
From a daughter who has held as model all of her life,
a son in law who adores you,
with all your American grandchildren.
We love you! Get Well soon!

Praise to God that your mother has made it through the surgery and has such loving family and friends who pray for her.

Still a lot of work recovering, but what a blessing for Drs. skill.
