Garden Journal: we cleaned and burned, stacked tomato cages, fluffed up the mulch on the strawberries, mulched aspargus, planted peas, leeks, spinach, lettuce and arugula.
Several hours in the sunshine does wonders for the soul.
Looking forward to a glorious Easter tomorrow!

hmm, sure looks like we are overly equipped to handle that pile of garden waste! but what's all that black area in the background?
I most definitely neglected to say that Husband had a crew of several willing and well equipped helpers doing controlled burning around the acreage. Now, how much of that work will affect the quantity or quality of our garden vegetables... remains to be visited.
