Husband brought many photos and it is a slow process to go through them and choose a few to post. These were taken in Lalibela where they visited this cross-shaped church carved down in the rock.
The UNESCO has installed huge coverings to help preserve it. Saint George is dear to Ethiopians and depicted everywhere.
