Ana, it was so great to see you! We miss you around here! Take care!
My kids think the best Friday "fast food" meal is naan from the bakery down the road, cheese cubes and fruit. We love it and would love the recipe.
1/2 tsp yeast
1/2 c warm water
1 Tb EVOO, plus more for bowl and brushing
1 1/3 c AP flour, plus more for dusting
3/4 tsp coarse salt, to taste
Place yeast in water, stir to dissolve, let sit until foamy (although I used the instant yeast that I just mixed in with the flour, so I skipped this step). Add oil, flour and salt, combine. Turn dough onto floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic (1-2 minutes). Place in lightly oiled bowl and let stand in warm place for 30 min.
Turn dough onto floured surface. Divide into 4 equal pieces and roll @ into a 1/4 inch round. Brush both sides with oil and place on hot grill, for about 2 min/side.
Enjoy!
Naan is delicious! Will you give us a recipe?
EVOO = Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Thanks, Susan!
