A most unusual biography...
...and also a most wonderful one. Only Fr. George Rutler could get away with such a unique, historically-enriched way to tell the story of the life of a saint! It reminds me so much of his old monthly column in Crisis magazine, "Coincidentally". And in this case, the story of a very unusual saint--but then again, all saints are unusual, aren't they? I requested it via inter-library loan and am taking notes in preparation for writing a one-act play about the patron saint of priests in this Year of the Priest!
I didn't know Fr Rutler had written a book on The Cure, I love listening to him speak, very gifted man, I'd love to track this book down for the Year of the Priest! Your play sounds exciting Ana, all the best with it!
Click here to be directed to my other blog, where I am publishing, in order, the Braga Family photo albums made by my mother, Lucia Braga. May she rest in God's eternal and blissful peace.

Thanks much, my "xara'"! (This is what we call someone with the same Christian name as ours in Portuguese--pronounced "shah-rah").
