Yesterday's Phenomenal Sun Pillar!

At first it emerged from the frozen landscape like a flashlight in the sky... and to the weather-students-in-the-car's amazement, the solar phenomenon grew to unbelievebale proportions!

These were taken yesterday morning around 7:50 AM on Highway 11 approaching Brandon by my teenagers while I drove.

What a beautiful set of photographs, catching the sun pillars that went both upwards and down from the sun this day. I see you got that perfect upwards sword and that magic moment when the sun was behind a cloud so that both the up and the down are in one photo.
