Last snowday teatime we had artisan bread toasted slices with our own blackbery jam... and we opened a package of Goiabinhas, the delicious filled cookies from Brazil. (I call Fig Newtons the American goiabinhas, which of course are filled with guava and not figs, and yes, they are much better in my opinion.)
These days we are experiemtning with Lenten vegetarian creations. We made these tortilla rollups for lunch and it occurred to me that this is a recipe we invented, we have been making it for over tne years. We process in the mini food processor cream cheese, salt, carrots and a clove of galic, and then roll up a generous portion of it in a tortilla with greens. Yum!
