Shakespeare Camp Day 4
It was a hot day yesterday... delightfully hot. No sweatshirts were brought out of vehicles. I wait all the long SD winter for heat like this. Of course 92 degrees isn't hot other places, but here people seem to wilt and melt at 85 degrees. On the way home, the fields were covered in the magical twinkling of millions of fireflies... and this only happens the rare warm South Dakotan night. Husband turned off the headlights on our short stretch of gravel road... and truly it seemed to the girls and I that we were driving under firefly light. We had the windows open at night and a nice cooler summer breeze came in. A perfect summer night.
