Happy Birthday, Margot!

She was born, my dad always told us, the first baby of the decade, a few minutes after midnight on January 1st, 1960. A wonderful sister, a beautiful person inside and out. I wish for you everything that is good, dearest sister! Your unwavering faith through all of life's sorrows, and your generous joy radiating to all around you, both have been profound inspiration to me! May our Heavenly Father, in His Infinite Wisdom, allow that we spend time together in peace and health still in this life.

On the top picture, on a visit to the Rio Art Museum, she is on the front row on the right, next to me and our little cousin  named after Dad, Claudio Humberto. The middle picture shows the two of us with our little brother Eduardo in grandmother's summer home where we spent 2 months of the year. Her first Holy Communion picture is so nice, with Benedictine nuns' school chaplain, Fr. Miguel OSB: she is on the front row, the second girl to the left of Fr.
