In Morocco

Number One flew from Amsterdam and spent the weekend in Casablanca and Marrakesh with Number Two and her fiance. She just emailed saying they had a great time together and sent me some pictures, sorry, they are small... The last one is of... Tintin!

It was really nice having Patrick here with us for this little while... too bad it wasn't more time. :) We tried to see as much as we could but it was very short. Hope he enjoyed being here as much as us having him around.
Hope you'll be all able to come visit Morocco!! You're all more than welcome whenever you want to. :)
See you soon!
Hi to all the BRAGA-HENEBRYs!

Hi Othman, yes, it seems like you guys had a wonderful time! That bridge looks so dangerous, Patrick doesn't like heights and I can't believe he actually crossed it. Thanks!

I actually don't like heights either, but that bridge only looked like dangerous, it wasn't actually. I crossed it too :). It was made of metal ropes and big chunks of wood firmly blocked by the ropes.
This bridge was in this little village called "sitti fatma" in the valey of Ourika close to the high Atlas (near Marrakech) and was leading to little restaurants and cafés on the other side of the river. Very nice place to be.
As for Tintin and snowy (Milou in French), they are just hand made figurine that they sell to french tourists and also because of the episode of Tintin that was "made" in Morocco and inspired by the country : "The Crab with the Golden Claws". The figurine are hand carved and polished out of wood.
