(Well, the very first one is not a literary illustration. It is a self-portrait of Number Seven and the newborn kittens!)
The girls and I listen to many books together, usually the books we need for the school year. Number Seven likes to do art while listening... and I am posting some today. The second image is her rendering of the final scene in E. Nesbit's The Story of the Amulet. The third one is my favorite of this batch: Sterling North's Rascal. The last one is from The Sign of The Beaver.

What an artist =] Her proportions and shapes really are impressive. Loving the self portrait-- can we have real kitten photos too though? I miss them! ;D
I completely agree! She is amazingly talented that way. And yes, we have real kitten pictures coming!
