A Fourth of July to Remember

This was the last Fourth of July we spent here in the acreage, and it was one to remember. Our friends the K. family came over and we had delicious grass-fed burgers, garden greens, corn on the cob, couscous-feta salad and a blueberry cobbler. The weather was fantastic and I enjoyed taking photos that yielded some surprising results! After the bonfire and fireworks, we all walked to the gravel road to admire the best show of all: the sea of fireflies twinkling the fields into life... a nature show to remain in the mind as the camera is not able to capture it. It is the rare evening when conditions allow for it.
