My godson Marcos

I was still a college student when my sister asked me to be his godmother. I was so very proud! This past weekend I had the pleasure to be with him after seven years. He has been to Scotland where he worked on his doctorate, and today he is a professor of Mechanical Engineering at a campus of the State University of Sao Paulo system. He is smart, funny, and all around wonderful! Below he is pictured with his godfather Vicente, my cousin, who also came for the funeral.

There is a heavenly peace in meeting someone who one prays for. May God continue to guide and bless my dear godson Marcos.
