Konza Prairie

We lived in Kansas for seven wonderful years, and have great memories. One of the memories involve the natural Tallgrass Preserve Konza Prairie, where Husband helped with controlled burning every year. He just sent me a story on NPR about it, enjoy!

The twins and I drove through just after the burning (on April 12) on our way to Manhattan to see Reid. It was the largest area I've seen burned throughout the years! Remarkable.
