The MN Catholic Homeschool Conference is consistently well-run, and allows for curriculum and book-browsing, meeting old friends, making new ones, and spending time in prayer and conversation with the wonderful friends with whom we ride the four-plus hours. In summer-storms weather. I loved my last-minute leading of the Bloggers' Gathering, bought some books, discovered new curriculum online offerings such as Kolbe Academy British Lit online course, and saw an interesting talk by Andrew Kern of the Circe Institute. I loved every minute of it!
