The fennel is fantastic, and so easy to grow! We roast the bulbs in the oven, chopped, with olive oil and a good Parmesan, garnishing it with its own chopped greens before serving. The green beans are yielding very well for the joy of Number Two, green-bean lover par excellence. Number Four, garden-harvester, gets the reward of one of his favorite foods: Homemade waffles!
