Watertown, SD Benedictines

My friend and Dairy Sci Professor Maristela was invited to attend an event held by the Benedictines in Watertown, SD, and invited me to go with her. I wanted very much to meet the sisters and see the Mother Of God Monastery, so I was happy to accept. Sister Teresa OSB was a delight to meet! She and her sisters serve the under-privileged in that area and we met many of the sisters, friends, and so many of the people they serve as well. It was a beautiful spring evening and we returned via the inside road, seeing some of the lakes of this region.
