Corpus Christi at the Abbey

I check on my little sister's Abbey website on a daily basis. She is still in her novitiate year so there is no communication from her. I rejoice in her sporadic appearances on the website photos, like this one today from their Corpus Christi procession. Turns out the Abbey has had permission since 1668 to hold its own procession with four altars.

Google Translation:

In-house Corpus Christi Procession

On Sunday, 7 June we celebrated our traditional house of Corpus Christi, which takes place after Corpus Christi always on Sunday. In 1668, was obtained from a former confessor when Eichstätter Bishop Ludwig Pentz the privilege during the period of the Octave of Corpus Christi in the monastery to hold its own procession with four altars. Thus, now for almost 350 years, singing and praying drawn with the Eucharistic Lord through the decorated cloisters . Our neighbor's children Elisabeth and Katharina Daum offered for the procession back to their acolytes services . A variety of flower vases , potted plants and works of art make this event a true feast for the eyes . Our new Spiritual Rev. Tobias Göttle, was deeply impressed and committed the procession in great piety.
