It was raining but oh so happy day. The best graduation speeches we've had all of these years! The student speech was given by the best friend of +Erik's, may God rest his soul. He spoke of the beauty of his college years and of the beauty of the Faith, and how he is headed to major seminary in Rome. Then the Archbishop gave the commencement speech and it was outstanding in every way: interesting, funny, engaging, quoting the university's patron Saint Thomas Aquinas, and filled with truth and wisdom! I have written to them asking for the transcripts of the speeches. Because of the rain we never got a whole group photo. We have her our gift at lunch before we headed back home. She had purchased the original OL Guadalupe painting in Peru, and we ordered a custom frame for it!
