This is the first wedding I was asked to bake a cake for... that I couldn't comply. Clare was so kind and understanding. With the train schedule modified due to COVID and my work schedule, it was simply not possible to be in Lincoln for the occasion. I remember Clare's energetic and delightful, smiling presence at our house in Lincoln when she was a little girl. I so wish I could have been there. Wishing her and Aaron, whom we met at her sister's Emily's wedding, all the happiness! I watched the wedding yesterday at the gorgeous Saint Thomas Aquinas chapel via livestream.
