We were hosted by Ruanes in their delightful home, and saw so many old friends. Being with Numbers Three and Four, Jessie and Bennett… Conversations, cooking, even sailing. Meeting goddaughter Hannah’s little Addie, and being invited out the the Daly acreage—so many highlights. Visiting “the farm” with Dominic (M. family’s acreage in Brookings) like old times, complete with Jennifer’s great cup of coffee, conversation and laughter… so many wonderful moments. Invitation to an authentic Brazilian dinner, and even a special flower-garden-related visit that I’m leaving as a surprise for Husband. The “storytelling evening” complete with charcuterie boards hosted by John crowned our days in SD!
