Husband arrived and had a couple of lovely visits with our dear Number Six. Then we had a day to do some touring around Tehachapi, California. We visited the park 1000 ft near the monastery, the German bakery, the railroad museum and famous train loop. And the Cezar Chavez national Monument. Very interesting landscape and narrow mountain roads, and we learned a lot about him, a devoted catholic and family man and father of eight kids. His widow and the widow of one of his friends visited the sisters at the monastery for many years.
