It is wonderful to be at the monastery on my dear patron’s feast day, of course they had beautifully printed special proper prayers for the dear saint. Every year this day fills me with memories of the little gifts, my mom would give me on this day, even though it was my oldest sister’s Catarina de Sena’s birthday.
Leaving the chapel after Compline, Husband wanted to take a picture of me under the golden light and a friend of the monastery who is leaving offered to take a picture of the both of us.
