We are all enjoying the newly acquired fowl in different ways.Husband loves the fresh eggs, Numbers Five through Seven enjoy feeding, naming and "watering" them. Now this. Let's see what Number One says when he arrives.
Today We marked three eggs with permanet markers-- Lucy has been sitting on them. In 3 weeks we'll see what we get!

Cool photo--looks like something from the era of the Dustbowl, particularly the lighting; it reminds me of the way that old photos fade. Very nice!

I've heard lots about these chickens! =) I really like this picture. So rustic looking but calm at the same time.
